Account

Sign Up - Register

Registration allows a new user to access the app with their credentials in order to manage the own dedicated services: generation of championships and tournaments, display of friends and public tournaments.
The registration button is located on the home page and is hidden if you have already logged in.
    Procedure:
  1. On the home page click on Register
  2. Enter email , password , confirmation password (same as password), username (your choice )
  3. Click on SAVE
  4. Open your inbox and verify that you have received an email from account@championships.cloud . In this mail there is the link to confirm the registration you need to click .
  5. A window will then open confirming the activation of the account
  6. Access the app via login
Required data: Email, Password, Username, Name (optional), Surname (optional).

Login

The Login allows an already registered user to access the app with their credentials (chosen at the time registration).
Only by logging in can you manage your championships and tournaments and view those of your friends.
If the Login button is not present it means that the user is already logged in.
Procedure:
  1. On the home page click on Login
  2. Enter email and password (chosen at registration)
  3. Click on Log in

Login with Google

Login with Google allows you to register using your Google® email and has the advantage, compared to the normal login, of not requesting any confirmation (via email link) and therefore the account will be immediately active.
At the first login with Google a random username will be assigned (of the type user0123456 ..) and also a random password that it is possible and recommended to change in the Account -> Profile section.
By changing the password, you can log in on any other device using your (Google) email and password (if chosen and changed).
If you already had an account (registered and confirmed) with the same email as the Google profile, then the user who logs in with Google will be recognized and will be allowed access.
Only by logging in can you manage your championships and tournaments and view those of your friends.
If the Login with Google button is not present on the home page, it means that the user is already logged in.
Procedure:
  1. On the home page click on Login with Google
  2. Accept the privacy policies and terms and conditions
  3. Click on Continue with Google
  4. Confirm the login requested by Google

Login with Apple (only for iOS)

Login with Apple allows you to register using your Apple® email and has the advantage, compared to the normal login, of not requesting any confirmation (via email link) and therefore the account will be immediately active.
At the first login with Apple a random username will be assigned (of the type user0123456 ..) and also a random password that it is possible and recommended to change in the Account -> Profile section.
By changing the password, you can log in on any other device using your (Apple) email and password (if chosen and changed).
If you already had an account (registered and confirmed) with the same email as the Apple profile, then the user who logs in with Apple will be recognized and will be allowed access.

Login without registration

This type of Login allows you to quickly register an account without having to confirm the email address and therefore the account will appear immediately active.
At login will be assigned:
  1. A fictitious email (of the type user1234567@championships.cloud)
  2. A random username (of the type user1234567 ...)
  3. A random password
Warning: to secure your championships and tournaments, convert first possible the 'unregistered' account in a 'verified' account (i.e. with verified email) through the functions available in the section 'Account-> Verify yourn Email account'
By changing the password you will be able to log in on any other device using the dummy email (e.g. user1234567@championships.cloud) assigned by the system at the time of login without registration and the new one password.
Warning: if you do not choose a new password you run the risk of NOT to be able to access and also NOT to be able to request a password reset because the system administrator cannot know who the owner of the registered account.
If the Login without registration button is not present on the home page, it means say that the user is already logged in.
Procedure:
  1. On the home page click on Login without registration
  2. Enter a first and last name (optional)
  3. Accept the privacy policies and terms of service
  4. Click on LOG IN

Verify your email account

This function present in the 'Account-> Verify email account' section is only available to users who have used Quick Login for access the app as only the latter did not have to enter a real and valid email address.
Account verification allows you to convert the quick account (temporary) in a verified and final account.
Account verification allows you to recover the login password in case of loss.
The procedure is simple: just indicate a valid email address where receive an email for confirmation.

Procedure:
  1. Click on 'Account-> Verify email account'
  2. Please provide a valid mail
  3. Click on SEND EMAIL
  4. Open your mail and locate and copy the Verification code (8 characters) present in the email
  5. On the account verification page, fill in the fields:
    • Verification code
    • New Password
    • Confirm New Password
    • Click on VERIFY ACCOUNT
At the end of the verification, the login will take place automatically.

Logout

Logout disconnects user access by deleting the data authentication.
By logging out, you will need to enter your credentials again to be able to log into the app and for this reason it is always not recommended to log out And prefer the Exit command which does not erase the data in memory.
ATTENTION : if your account was created without registration and the email did not occur (through the functions available in the section 'Account-> Verify email'), the next login with the same Quick account could be compromised in case of cancellation unintentional cache memory through cleanup functions device.
Logout is to be used only if you want to log in with another account.
Procedure:
  • Click on Logout (present in the side menu or in Account -> Logout)

Exit

With the Exit command, you exit the app without deleting the authentication, therefore returning to the app does not you will need to re-enter your credentials.

Forgot password

If the user has forgotten the password to access the app, he can request to reset it by sending a request through the ‘Forgotten Password’ link in the login window.
Procedure:
  1. On the home page click on Login
  2. Click on the link at the bottom of the page ‘Forgotten Password’
  3. Enter the registration email
  4. Click SEND EMAIL
  5. Open your mailbox and verify that you have received a ‘reset password’ email from account@championships.cloud . In this mail there is a verification code which allows the change password in the app
  6. Going back to the app, after sending the email you will have opened the Reset Password window (otherwise, if the app is closed, log in again from the home page -> Login -> Forgot your password -> link ‘Access with verification code ' below)
  7. In the Reset password window, enter the verification code , the email , the new password and the confirm new password (same as the new password chosen)
  8. Clicking on SAVE the new password will be saved

Change password

Change password allows a logged in user to change the existing password with another one.
Procedure:
  1. Access the side menu and click on Account
  2. Click on the ‘Change Password’ link
  3. Enter the new password and confirm new password (same as password)
  4. Click on SAVE

Upload photo

It is advisable to customize the avatar image or profile image, replacing the default one, by be recognizable by other friends or users. The list of championships, tournaments, friends, players assigned to a team and the players' ranking make use of the profile avatar.
To customize or change the avatar image, you can take a photo or choose it in the Gallery device images.
The image must be of type JPEG, PNG or GIF . Other extensions are not supported.
Note: the ‘Open editor for image editing’ option , enabled by default, allows cropping images after taking or selecting them. In case of problems, deriving from the type of device used, it is possible disable it and in this case it will not be possible to crop the image.
Procedure to take a photo:
  1. Access the side menu and click on Account
  2. Click on the ‘Upload photo’ link
  3. Click on the Camera icon to open the system camera
  4. Take the photo / selfie
  5. Confirm with OK (or try again by taking a new photo and confirming it)
  6. (ONLY with Open Editor option for image editing activated) A menu will appear when the photo is confirmed in the lower part (‘Complete the action with’) and click on ‘Crop photo’ (app of system), which will allow you to select, by resizing it, only a part of the area of ​​the photo selected. This operation allows you to better center the photo to be saved
  7. (ONLY with Open Editor option for image editing activated) Click on Done to display in the preview the new avatar
  8. Click on SAVE (to insert or replace the previous avatar)
Procedure to select a photo from the image gallery:
  1. Access the side menu and click on Account
  2. Click on the ‘Upload photo’ link
  3. Click on the Image icon to open the Image Gallery
  4. Select the image
  5. Confirm with OK (or try again by taking a new photo and confirming it)
  6. (ONLY with Open Editor option for image editing activated) A menu will appear when the photo is confirmed in the lower part (‘Complete the action with’) and click on ‘Crop photo’ (app of system), which will allow you to select, by resizing it, only a part of the area of ​​the photo selected. This operation allows you to better center the photo to be saved

Other options available::
  • Open Editor for image editing : if activated, after taking a photo or choosing the photo from gallery, a further panel will be presented in the lower part (‘Complete action with’) which opens a system editor for cropping / manipulating images
  • Quality : controls the quality of the final image (which is already reduced compared to the original)
  • Dimensions : controls the size of the final image (which is already reduced compared to the original)
Delete profile photo
Delete the saved profile photo.
Procedure:
  1. Access the side menu and click on Account
  2. Click on the ‘Upload photo’ link
  3. Click the Delete Picture button to the right of the profile photo to delete it definitely.
Sync profile photo
Allows you to synchronize the profile photo by taking it from the server.
If the app is installed on multiple devices and on one of these the profile photo is changed, on the others it will no longer be visible unless synchronization is performed, which reloads the new avatar on the current device.
Procedure:
  1. Access the side menu and click on Account
  2. Click on the ‘Upload photo’
  3. link
  4. Click on the Synchronize button on the right of the profile photo.

Profile

With the exception of email, all profile data can be changed.
Procedure:
  1. Access the side menu and click on Account
  2. Click on the "Profile" link
  3. Edit the data
  4. Click on SAVE

Organizer data

This data relates to the organizer user, ie the user who created a championship or tournament. This is additional information that the organizer can make visible to other users (see also visibility personal data).
Data that can be entered:
  • Country
  • Province (only with country Italy)
  • Municipality (only with Italy)
  • Organizer name
  • Phone
  • Email
  • Note
By filling in these data, users can possibly contact the organizer to find out how participation in the competition.

Player data

Each user can enter their 'player data' which will be visible in the user's detail (when clicking on the profile picture).
In addition, when a player is added to a team by associating them, the players present in this section will be automatically recovered, allowing the organizer to quickly retrieve all the information of the player if any. This data is additional information that can be made visible to other users (see also visibility personal data).

Sport facilities

Sports facilities allow the inclusion of favorite sports facilities (where the championship or tournament is generally held) by saving them in a list. On the page for editing a championship or tournament (in the general data) there is the Location entry which will show all the favorite structures included among which to choose one.
Procedure:
  1. Access the side menu and click on Account
  2. Click on the ‘Sports facilities’ link
  3. Enter the name of a structure
  4. Click on the '+' icon to add it to the list
  5. Click on SAVE
To modify an inserted sports facility:
  1. Select the name of the structure entered from the list
  2. Change the name
  3. Click on SAVE
To delete an inserted sports facility:
  1. Click on the 'Delete' icon in the list corresponding to the structure name
  2. Click on SAVE

Visibility of personal data

Allows you to set the visibility of your personal data to other users.
Account visible to all or just friends : by choosing All, your account will be searchable by all users while 'Friends Only' will be searchable only by friends. If the visibility is set to 'friends only' other users will not be able to send friend requests.
Phone visible to friends : if it is activated, friends can view it when they are viewing yours profile. Other users are never allowed to view it.
Email visible to friends : if it is activated friends can view it when viewing your profile. Other users are never allowed to view it.
Organizer data visible to friends (to users) : if it is activated, user logged in can view the data you entered in 'Organizer data' in your account. Other users are never allowed to view them.
Player data visible to friends (to users) : if it is activated, user logged in can view the data you entered in 'Player data' in your account. Other users are never allowed to view them.
NOTE : If an entry is not visible because it is hidden by the user, it will be displayed instead of the information itself, of the asterisk ('*****') symbols.

My PLUS Features

It allows you to view your plus features, i.e. all the features and limits of the version owned.
  • Number of champonships that can be created
  • Number of players per team in a champonship
  • Number of Events per game in a champonship
  • Number of tournaments that can be created
  • Number of players per team in a tournament
  • Number of events per game in a tournament
  • Number of images in the image gallery that can be managed
  • Number of banners in the image gallery that can be managed

Every time you win a plus features (watching a video on the home page) you need to synchronize the characteristics of the version owned by clicking on the Synchronize button
It allows you to view the publication preferences of your own advertising banners within your championships and tournaments.
Through the image gallery it is possible to create a banner from a photo or by selecting an image that will be visible to all users who will view some pages of their championships or tournaments such as: in the match calendar, in the standing, in the top scorers, the list of teams, in the detail page of a team or a match.
In this way, each organizer will be able to advertise their sponsors completely free of charge.
The banners will be checked by the administrator.

Function details:
- ' Show banners on pages ': if enabled, it shows the selected banner to users who browse the pages of their championships or tournaments.
- Expiry date : the validity date of publication. If it has expired, you need to earn more days through the 'Days Banner' function on the Home Page.
- Banner list : shows all banners already owned and validated by the administrator; the selected one will be shown to users.
- Check ' Visible in all positions ': if enabled it indicates that you want to display the banner on all available pages (in the calendar, rankings, markers, etc.), otherwise (if disabled) it is possible choose, from the list below, only the pages in which to make it visible, belonging to both championships and tournaments.

The ' SAVE ' button changes the publishing preferences and makes them active.

Delete account

This function allows the permanent deletion of the account with everyone your data.
Any data on your account (championships, tournaments, team galleries, images, friends, banners, etc.) will be deleted from the system.
ATTENTION: account deletion CANNOT be restored in no way why the data is actually deleted !!!

The cancellation procedure is different depending on the type of account registration:
  1. Verified account with email (normal registration or with Facebook)
  2. Quick registration without verified email ('Login without registration')

1) Cancellation procedure for 'Email Verified Account':
  1. Click on 'Account-> Delete Account'
  2. Click on SEND REQUEST
  3. Open the mail and locate and copy the Verification code for account deletion (8 characters) present in the email
  4. On the account deletion page, indicate the Verification Code:
  5. Click on DELETE ACCOUNT

2) Cancellation procedure for 'Quick account without email':
  1. Click on 'Account-> Delete Account'
  2. Copy the 6-digit token code
  3. Paste the Token Code into the Verification Code
  4. field
  5. Check the item 'I confirm the deletion'
  6. Click on DELETE ACCOUNT
At the end of the cancellation, the logout will take place.
